What a mighty assignment from God! The book will inspire and encourage youngsters with the understanding of their condition, and feel equal to other children, no less.
May God continue to bless you in all you do and He provides, in Jesus name, Amen.
Continued success Sis!
Regarding the cover, I love the symbolism of the rainbow behind Mama Poo. It emanates hope, and victory.. after the storm…
However, when I look at the white background it gives a sense of scale and confidence. To me it feels like she is the largest factor in her world and everything else is invited, enjoyed, or overcome. Also, the simplicity of the background makes her stand out, the yellow eyes are not lost in the barrage of color, the details of the cotton top hairdo are more noticeable and she is just absolutely an adorable figure of African American greatness.
I’m truly happy for you and your journey on how successful you have become in spite of having sickle cell anemia you didn’t let anything stop you and didn’t let the first no turn you away you persevered with your journey and story and look what you’ve accomplished you should be proud of yourself I.am certainly proud of you always Sherrifa Bennett ps love you
